For the past few days, all seventh graders have been working in teams to research ancient China’s dynasties. They have been practicing the skills of in-text citations, full citations, and researching and summarizing facts from databases like Gale, Encyclopedia Britannica, and ImageQuest. The students have also been reviewing proper timeline numbering sequence with BC and AD plus correctly plotting the different lengths of each dynasty on the line. All of these requirements have kept them pretty busy and focused with both independent expectations and teamwork skills.
These Computer Science for Innovators & Makers students are going to assist in the production of the Masquerade of the Horse at the Michiana Event Center working on the inputs/outputs of the physical computing world. They will be assisting a professional lighting and sound technician while learning about how to program these inputs and outputs.
