Edgewood's Annual Food Drive is going on right now through Monday, December 16. As always, we are planning to create boxes of food for families to last during the two weeks of winter break, as well as provide food for Boomerang Backpacks and for Our Father's House and Combined Community Services. You can find teachers and students at Owen's Grocery Store collecting donations, or you can send donations in with your student. All help is appreciated as Edgewood works to enrich the lives of others.
Fall Break was a busy time for several Edgewood students as they toured Gettysburg and Washington D.C. on the annual fall break trip to Washington D.C. Four students were chosen to participate in the wreath ceremony at the Tomb of the Unkown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetary. If you are a current 7th grader or 7th-grade parent and would like more information on the Gettysburg and Washington D.C. trip scheduled for Fall Break 2020, email Mr. Ringler for details at email@example.com. What a great idea for a Christmas gift, or a great time to save money in order to participate in this once in a lifetime trip!
Edgewood's second Parent-Teacher Conference night will be November 21 from 3:30-6:30 p.m.. Parents who attend will be able to pick up their child's progress report at the front table. Our conferences are student-led, so please bring your student with you to help you find specific teachers and to lead the discussion on how things are going in classes. Hope to see you then!
Reminder: Edgewood, and Warsaw Community Schools, will be on Fall Break Wednesday, October 23, Thursday, October 24, and Friday, October 25. While our elementary schools will have Parent-Teacher Conferences Tuesday and Wednesday, there will not be Parent-Teacher Conferences at Edgewood during this time. Our next opportunity for parents to come meet with teachers will be Thursday, November 21 from 3:30pm - 6:30pm. Enjoy your break and be safe!
