Edgewood Cares, Edgewood's humanitarian club, spent its first event packing meals for children in need. They had a blast packing over 30 boxes themselves. Overall, every group packed over 700 boxes which is enough to feed more than 400 people for a year!

As part of the Warsaw Schools' mission to enrich the lives of others, Edgewood held a contest between 7th and 8th grade students to raise money to help pay for materials for Feed My Starving Children. It was a tight race between the two classes, with the 7th grade class barely squeaking ahead for the win! The reward for meeting our fundraising goal was to watch some favorite teachers compete in a hot dog eating contest. Mr. Netzley, Spanish teacher, won the competition, eating 4 hot dogs in 2 minutes. During second lunch shift, Mr. Brenneman, math teacher, won by eating 3 hot dogs in 2 minutes.  Students and staff alike enjoyed celebrating by watching this competition!
