Do you like volunteering to help organizations & causes such as Riley's Children's Hospital, the Boomerang Back-Pack program, Feed My Starving Children, and the Edgewood Canned Food Drive? Do you want to make a difference in people's lives and your community? Then Edgewood Cares is the club for you. Edgewood Cares will have it's initial call out meeting this Wednesday after school from 2:45- 3:15 in the library after school. We organize or take part in a fundraiser every quarter to raise money for different organizations and causes. We also organize and run Edgewood's spring dance. If you are interested in being a part of Edgewood Cares, please come this Wednesday. If you are unable to attend, please see Mrs. Beer, Mrs. Helser, or Mrs. Toumey for more information.

Attention 8th grade members of National Junior Honor Society - there will be an opportunity to earn about one hour of credit next Wednesday, Sept 13 by going with Mrs. Fisher to the Community Apple Orchard to pick apples after school.  This has been a lot of fun the last few years.  We will go regardless of the weather (except for storms).  See Mrs. Fisher if you are interested.
