 Students in Mr. Wysong's class are doing an activity in math in which they are trying to find the best slope of a ramp in order to maximize the distance travelled by the toy car.

Mrs. Fisher and Mr. Halferty's 7th grade social studies students have been working on National History Day projects for a month.  Language Arts teachers Mr. Cook, Ms. Nelson and Mrs. Thompson have helped students with writing thesis statements and writing paragraphs.  Students researched during social studies classes in order to prepare for their writing.  Now they are putting projects together with their writing, some great images and quotes, and lots of creativity!

8th grade Language Arts teachers Mrs. Toumey, Mrs. Helser, and Mrs. Beer also sponsor the Edgewood Cares Club.  Their 2nd nine weeks event was a fundraiser for Riley Children's Hospital.  Students got sponsors for a Friday night read-a-thon raising $1,124! It was a huge success!  Way to go, Edgewood Cares!
