LUNCH: Today’s menu choices are Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup, Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, or PB & J Jamwich with String Cheese & Pretzels, Steamed Corn, Cucumber Slices, Choice of Fruit, and Milk

The Dodgeball Tournament is back at Edgewood.  It is happening Tuesday, May 14th after school until 5p.  Sign up with teams of 6. Cost is $18 per team. Get a registration form and more information from any PE teacher.  Once you've got your team, turn in the registration form and money to a PE teacher by Monday, May 13th. New this year: halfway through the tournament, there will be a massive Students vs. Staff dodgeball game for those who join us Tuesday after school. All proceeds go to the Kailey Lynn Zehr Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Come on out and join the fun!

Fellowship of Christian students movie night is Friday, May 10th, from 6-8:30p in Tiger Central at the high school. We will be eating pizza and watching the movie God’s not Dead. Students are to email Mr. Bailey at dbailey@warsawschools.org to let him know if they plan to attend.

Edgewood’s Cheer Parent Meeting is Thursday May 9th in the commons from 5:00-6:00p.

Drama Club will meet Wednesday, May 8th from 3-4:00p in the commons.

The Robotics Club final meeting will be Tuesday after school until 4. Please bring or wear your Robotics T-shirt— if u do, you will get cotton candy. We are going to take a team picture.

The High School Color Guard will have an informational meeting today, May 6th for all 8th graders interested in joining. Students that are interested in learning to dance and spin flags at football games and competitions are invited to attend on Monday at 3:30pm in the High School band room. Enter through door 44 by the high school student parking lot. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Travis or Mr. Peloza in the band room.

PPE will be selling Edgewood stars for Staff Appreciation this week. To show your appreciation,  purchase a candy bar and star note for any Edgewood staff.  The candy bar and attached note will cost $1 and be available during lunch next Tuesday and Wednesday. All Edgewood stars will be delivered to the staff on Wednesday afternoon.

Best wishes to our Track team tonight as they race Lakeview Middle School with a start time of 5:00 PM.

ID CARDS Each student must wear a clearly visible student photo identification card on a break-away lanyard each day at Edgewood Middle School. Replacements will cost $4.00 for an ID and $1.00 for a lanyard. Unpaid ID’s will result in school consequences.

APPOINTMENTS Please send a note to school with your student if you are picking your student up early. The student is to bring the note to the office before school begins for a pass to come to the office before your arrival time. After the appointment, please bring in the slip from a medical appointment for your student’s files.

All 7th-grade WCS students that are enrolled through the end of the 2018-2019 school year will be eligible to purchase their iPad mini2s. Purchases will be paid for by the student on Tuesday May 21st. Early sales will not be permitted. All invoices for device repairs or missing items MUST be paid in full prior to the building purchase date. Late sales will not be permitted. Each 8th grade student will receive a full sized device from WCS at the start of the year, and will receive a new iPad at the start of their 9th grade year. Please call (574) 371-5049 if you have any questions or would like to check outstanding balances.

Attention 7th graders who were invited to join National Junior Honor Society.  If you forgot to give Mrs. Fisher your purple info sheet, please do so by the end of the day today.  You do not have to join but it does look good for future job and college applications. If you have questions about NJHS before you make your final decision, please email or see Mrs. Fisher ASAP.

Edgewood’s Track meet against Wawasee will be held at Warsaw Community High School tonight.at 4:30p. Good luck Tigers!

Attention all 7th graders who received an invitation to join National Junior Honor Society - your purple survey sheets are due by tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30.

All 7th and 8th graders eligible for NJHS will be receiving a note soon reminding you of the induction ceremony date and time.  Those who did NOT turn in their 8th grade volunteer hours or 7th grade survey will also receive a note indicating that you did not fulfill the requirements for membership.  Please see Mrs. Fisher if you have any questions.

Our last Manufacturing Club meeting of the school year will be Wednesday, May 1 after school until 4 in the STEM lab.      

FCS will meet Tuesday morning at 7:00a in Mr. Brumbaugh’s room.

Cheer Tryouts will be held today from 4:00-6:00p for any 7th grade girl who is interested in trying out for next year’s cheer team.
