Our annual Food Drive ended Monday, December 16.  Our Edgewood Elves are busy distributing food boxes to many Edgewood families, as well as to families in other Warsaw schools, Our Father's House, and Combined Community Services.
Many, many thanks go out to our students, staff, and families who helped us out by helping at Owens, selling Hacienda gift cards, eating at Hacienda on our special night, by sending in foods and paper products, by sorting, transporting, moving all donations around in the school.  We were able to collect 18,796 items, an amazing amount!  This is definitely a community project, and we thank everyone who is part of our Edgewood community!
Wishing everyone a safe and joyful holiday season!

Edgewood's Annual Food Drive is going on right now through Monday, December 16.  As always, we are planning to create boxes of food for families to last during the two weeks of winter break, as well as provide food for Boomerang Backpacks and for Our Father's House and Combined Community Services.
You can find teachers and students at Owen's Grocery Store collecting donations, or you can send donations in with your student.  All help is appreciated as Edgewood works to enrich the lives of others.

8th grade Language Arts teachers Mrs. Toumey, Mrs. Helser, and Mrs. Beer also sponsor the Edgewood Cares Club.  Their 2nd nine weeks event was a fundraiser for Riley Children's Hospital.  Students got sponsors for a Friday night read-a-thon raising $1,124! It was a huge success!  Way to go, Edgewood Cares!
