Ms. Rhoades’ medical detectives class began their first lab today.  They are testing the effectiveness of different antibiotics on bacteria.  We will return to school next week to analyze our results!

Mrs. Toumey's honors language arts students did character autopsies of Matilda, a protagonist in their novel Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson.

Students in 8th grade history classes made their own trebuchets as part of an instructional unit on pre-American history.  They learned some math skills and got very creative with minimal supplies as they figured out how to launch projectiles.  It was war in the library as Mr. Devlin's class fought Mr. Ringler's class.  Green and brown army guys, along with some other creative armies which included ShopKins dolls, superheroes, farm animals, and an assortment of pumpkins, all landed on the floor admits shouts of laughter.  Next up in history:  The Age of Exploration.
