On Thursday, October 19, Mrs. Akers, our school nurse, will be doing basic vision screening on all our 8th grade students. Students are asked to please wear their contact lenses or eyeglasses on this day to provide a more accurate screening!
The Edgewood Library now has 3 Kajeet portable wifi SmartSpot devices available for circulation. Students just need to ask Mrs. Eberhardt or Ms. Eppley for help with these devices. If parents do not wish for their student to check out a device, they should contact Mrs. Eberhardt to let her know.
Do you like volunteering to help organizations & causes such as Riley's Children's Hospital, the Boomerang Back-Pack program, Feed My Starving Children, and the Edgewood Canned Food Drive? Do you want to make a difference in people's lives and your community? Then Edgewood Cares is the club for you. Edgewood Cares will have it's initial call out meeting this Wednesday after school from 2:45- 3:15 in the library after school. We organize or take part in a fundraiser every quarter to raise money for different organizations and causes. We also organize and run Edgewood's spring dance. If you are interested in being a part of Edgewood Cares, please come this Wednesday. If you are unable to attend, please see Mrs. Beer, Mrs. Helser, or Mrs. Toumey for more information.
