Electronics Sewing
Students in Miss Rohrer's Stitch-n-Save class designed their own soft circuit sewing projects. Then they sewed with stainless steel thread, attached a battery holder, inserted the battery and flipped the switch to light up LEDs. They sewed the rest of the project together and stuffed it. Students learned design, sewing stitches and knots as well as basic electronic circuitry all in one project. This hands-on project required them to apply problem solving skills in several areas
