Edgewood Middle School has a goal of raising $2000 or more to support the local Feed My Starving Children effort.  We will begin collecting next week.  You may send cash or checks, made out to FMSC with MobilePack #1810-047AU in the memo line.  
We can only take 300 students to the actual food packing, so we will hold a contest between lunch shifts.  Whichever lunch shift collects the most money will have first priority in going to pack.
More information will be coming as we provide updates next week!

Spell Bowl will start practice next Tuesday and Thursday.  Students interested in participating need to see Ms. Kempton.  Be prepared for fun, food, and lots and lots of spelling.  There are two competitions against nearby teams.

Many thanks to Officer Navarro, the Lutheran EMS, and the Warsaw Fire Department for organizing and helping our students learn many safety skills!  Students learned CPR skills, moving an injured person, how to operate a fire extinguisher, and practiced using seatbelts and running to safe locations in case of emergencies.  Edgewood staff and students sure appreciate our community and the help they provide to us!
