PLTW’s Design & Modeling class & Wise’s Sciences classes are gathering data. DM students have designed a puzzle cube based on constraints & they are timing the science students on how long it takes to solve it. The data will be used for statistical analysis.

Using critical thinking skills, 8th grade honors language arts students attempted to get out of their escape rooms. Only one group was able to master the puzzles.

Eighth grade language arts students are reading The Secret of the Yellow Death, the story of how 4 scientists used the scientific process to figure out how yellow fever was spread. 8th grade honors language arts students conducted their own experiments of spatial observation using the scientific process.
