As part of Edgewood's fundraiser for Feed My Starving Children, students had the opportunity to tape a teacher to the wall.  First lunch shift taped Mr. Devlin, and second lunch shift taped Mr. Brumbaugh.  Students laughed as they took pictures and claimed this was the most fun they had all school year.  So far.  We know that in addition to academics, more fun is on the way!

Congratulations to the “Big Daddy Pizza” team for winning this week’s Edgewood enrichment bake-off. They made yummy, and pretty, cherry Homemade Pop Tarts. Thanks to the judges too.

Edgewood Middle School has a goal of raising $2000 or more to support the local Feed My Starving Children effort.  We will begin collecting next week.  You may send cash or checks, made out to FMSC with MobilePack #1810-047AU in the memo line.
We can only take 300 students to the actual food packing, so we will hold a contest between lunch shifts.  Whichever lunch shift collects the most money will have first priority in going to pack.
More information will be coming as we provide updates next week!
We thank you for all your support in our Edgewood initiative to enrich the lives of others.

Spell Bowl will start practice next Tuesday and Thursday.  Students interested in participating need to see Ms. Kempton.  Be prepared for fun, food, and lots and lots of spelling.  There are two competitions against nearby teams.
