Today, we had a surprise visitor, Rowdy the Robot (Mrs. Scroggs). The students had to write specific directions on how to make a cheese/mayo sandwich—as if they were programming a robot. Rowdy performed the students directions today during class. The students learned that directions need to be very specific & sequential.
Rowdy the Robot will be used by the Engineering/Technology department as a promotional tool for engineering & robotics.
