Welcome to Edgewood Middle School!
ISTEP Super Heroes
Warsaw Community Schools is requesting parents/guardians to register their students for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year using the new and more convenient WCS online system. Parents will be able to register all of their children from one location with internet access. No registration is scheduled at the school in August.
Spread the word…many schools will have evening hours for parents/guardians that need computer access. Edgewood will be open on Tuesday evenings until 6:30pm for registration.
The Buy One Get One Free Bookfair will begin Monday, May 14. The fair will be open during school hours all week, and during Edgewood’s Best, Tuesday May 22. Mrs. Fisher’s 7th grade social studies class has been working in the library studying current issues in Africa. Mrs. Akers, our school nurse, presented information on clean drinking water. She has set up a donation site at Charity Water. Parents and community members are welcome to help contribute and raise money for wells to provide clean drinking water in Africa. $20.00 provides clean water for one person. $5000 provides a well for an entire village! Let’s all work together to help others! Ask any of Mrs. Fisher’s students for more information.
